Enabling Bangla/English : F11 or Alt-Ctrl-B.
It will toggle from the current state. The writing state is visible in the state pane of the product bar. ENGLISH is showed for default (english) typing.
In Bangla mode it will show in Bangla the current keyboard selection.
Modes
There are two modes viz Dictionary Mode and Letter Mode available for writing in Default (IxPad) mode. The modes are defined to define the keyboard work with help from dictionary or independently. The current mode is displayed by the MODE letter in the product bar. You can change the mode by pressing the CAPS LOCK key ON/OFF.
CAPS LOCK OFF will work in Dictionary mode.
CAPS LOCK ON will work in Letter mode.
Writing words from Dictionary (Dictionary Mode)
While in dictionary mode you can write with help from dictionary hint. Moreover it will automatically complete the first chosen word from hints as you type a portion of the word. Keep typing if the word shown is not the desired one as it will dynamically change based on your subsequent keystrokes.
If you are unable to write any particular word in Dictionary mode it might not be available in the Dictionary. Please Change to Letter Mode for typing any new word.
Writing words not available in the Dictionary (Letter Mode)
Please ensure that CAPS LOCK key is on. Now start typing in phonetic order. The software will show hints on letter basis. Please select the desired letter hint from hint window before typing the next letter as it will be fixed for subsequent typing. You can use the shift key in CAPS lock mode for writing hard consonants like ট/ড/ড়/ at a single stroke rather than selecting from hint window.
Keyboard Layouts
ইক্সপ্যাড (IxPAD)
This is the default keyboard layout for Bangla. It is based on most intelligent IxPad technology deviced by IECB for fast typing in Bangla. The IxPad name comes from Intelligent Functional (fX) Keypad technology. We tell it for keypad as it will cover dynamic transformation of keypressed events and will not depend on key being typed but its matching with dictionary in totality.
Though the typing is very flexible, but for fast users the following mapping is provided for easy starting with very fast typing.

জাতীয় (Jatiyo ) National Keyboard Layout by BCC
It is a standard keyboard layout for government/public usage in Bangladesh by Bangladesh Computer Council. The detail layout is shown in the Figure below.
ইউনিজয় (Unijoy ) A keyboard layout created by Ekushey Bangla Computing group
It is a standard unicode keyboard layout similar to Bijoy by Ekushey Bangla Computing group. The detail layout is shown in the Figure below.
নিজস্ব (Nijosbo) Custom Keyboard Layout - A define yourself opportunity
It is a XML based self defining opportunity to create your own keyboard layout. Open the Directory KeyboardLayouts from under installed folder of Shadik software. Now open the Custom.xml for making any change to the layout defined by it. You will find the current definition of custom layout to be exactly same as UNIJOY layout. Make any change and do some experiment to see the outcome. Do not forget to select Custom layout first from Keyboard Layouts menu.
Registration
Select the Register option from Menu
The following window will appear which will display you Product ID and Activation code. The Authorization Code will be EMPTY initially.
Please contact through email/ messenger/ telephone whatever convenient for you and supply the Product ID (CD Version only, if you are an online purchaser leave it empty) and Activation Code. Within 24 Hours maximum timelimit you will receive the Activation code for the product.
Write the supplied Activation Code and Product ID to your Product Activation window and click Activate Now. It will be registered for valid users. Please close the program and startover for full version.

New Word Management
Shabdik software Automatically detects new words that is not included in the dictionary and makes them available for subsequent usage. Select the New Word Management option from Menu
The following window will appear which will display you the New word Management Options.
Type a prefix in the Search Box and click Search to find the desired results. If you dont find a specific word you might be missing the desired search selection option. Selection of All will search through the current dictionary.
